Wound Healing

XWRAP® is an amnion derived biological that can be used as a soft-tissue wound covering which acts as a natural scaffold for cellular migration, attachment, and proliferation. As an ECM (Extra Cellular Matrix), XWRAP® provides a scaffolding used by the body to drive healing towards native tissue regeneration. For more comprehensive information on various types of wounds, first aid, and wound care, you can refer to the National Library of Medicine’s MedlinePlus resource.

Qualifying Patients

Those with non healing ulcers or non-surgical wounds:

  • Diabetic Foot Ulcers
  • Venous Leg Ulcers
  • Severe Wounds

Strong Tensile Strength

The SINGLE LAYER provides physicians options for application; it can be sutured and/or stapled, depending on physician’s discretion.

Safe & Effective

  • Donor tissue is recovered and processed aseptically in full accordance with industry standards. Tested for potential infectious diseases and terminally sterilized to ensure the safety of the membrane.
  • XWrap is immune privileged, allowing it to be applied to different wounds without rejection.

Stable Shelf Life

Storage in a dry environment at room temperature makes it convenient for the physician, allowing it to be readily available for application (5-year shelf life).

XWrap Wound Healing

XWrap wound healing therapy is derived from amniotic tissue, known for its regenerative properties. This biologic matrix helps to reduce inflammation and scar tissue while promoting natural tissue repair. It has been used successfully in treating venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot wounds, pressure ulcers, and surgical incisions that are not healing on their own.

It’s FDA-regulated and has been used in thousands of cases across the country. Patients treated with this advanced material often report faster healing, less pain, and lower risk of infection. Many begin noticing improvements in pain levels, wound size, and tissue health within a few weeks.

Our approach also evaluates factors such as gait, footwear, pressure points, and daily activity to help prevent recurrence, often incorporating gait analysis, bracing, and offloading techniques to improve long-term healing outcomes.
